Following the success of our multi-city Karaz Camp, we are proud to announce the first-ever Karaz Chefs one-day event marking World Diabetes Day
November 14, 2022
People living with diabetes have high blood glucose levels caused by a deficiency in insulin production (Type I) or insulin function (Type II). Since 1980, the global prevalence of diabetes has risen nearly 3%, corresponding to over 300 million adults
Regular physical activity, good nutrition, monitoring, and medication are daily realities for diabetic patients looking to avoid future complications
Karaz is a patient-centered interactive platform supporting people impacted by Type I
diabetes. We took the isolated experience of living with diabetes and turned it into an
incentivized support community
One of the ways we do this is by hosting community events like our upcoming Karaz Chefs—an all-day cooking event created to simplify living with diabetes.
When you attend Karaz Chef’s, you share the experience of cooking nutritious and delicious meals with a community of friends and family
Choose the meal you would like to prepare — breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and arrive at the scheduled time. Learn how to calculate your meal’s nutrients, calories, and carbohydrates, under the guidance of a qualified nutritionist and chef. Join family and friends and enjoy the tasty market-fresh meal you have just prepared.
Reap the Rewards
All guests leave with a belly full of diabetic-friendly food, a downloadable recipe, and a custom pendant to mark your attendance and achievement
